CAN you make a panto star’s Christmas wish come true?

Actress Sherrie Hewson, who is juggling her role in Cinderella with tracing her Mackem family tree, is inviting potential relatives to a coffee morning.

The Loose Women and Benidorm star chose to take up the role of the Fairy Godmother in the Sunderland Empire in a bid to learn more about her father’s past. Her late dad, Ronald Hutchinson, was raised in Castletown, but mystery surrounds the identity of his real father.

Sherrie is inviting potential relatives along to the Empire from 10.30am to 11.30am on Monday for a special coffee morning.

In particular, she is looking to meet people with the following surnames: Porter, Hutchinson and Pearn.

If you have one of these three surnames and think you could be related to Ronald Hutchinson and therefore Sherrie, go along to the Foyer Entrance at 10.30am.

Only people with the surnames stated will be admitted to the coffee morning and a proof of ID will be required.
