Police are hoping to trace the owner of a saw believed to have been stolen in Sunderland.
The Bosch saw was recovered after a 30-year-old man was arrested after a van was broken into in Falmouth Drive.
The saw was found during a search at an address in Whitehall Terrace and officers suspect it is stolen property.
Pc Wayne Wright said: "Unfortunately the saw is not registered on the national property database, Immobilise, and as yet we've been unable to identify who it belongs to.
"We're keen to hear from anyone who may have been a recent victim of burglary or theft and believe the saw belongs to them to come forward."
Anyone who believes the property belongs to them should contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference PC8999.
