Have your say

Representatives of your Sunderland Echo have been in a city shopping centre showing shoppers our new-look paper.

Our team pitched up in the Bridges to promote your Echo, which boasts new additions such as lifestyle supplement Your Life and more entertainment and What’s On listings than ever before.

And of course, there’s our continued unrivalled coverage of news and sport across Wearside and Durham.

Joy Yates, editorial director, said: “Our team enjoyed their day in the Bridges meeting shoppers who wanted to know about the design and content changes at their Echo, which we implemented following extensive research and reaction from our readers.

“We are now in great new offices in Rainton Bridge and delighted to be producing bigger, better, brighter papers for our readers.”

The Echo’s new look means there’s even more local news in your favourite daily paper, including new community news pages, while recent additions to our comprehensive sports coverage have included the popular Roar pull-out that covers all the latest events at Sunderland AFC.

It remains great value at 70p a day, although readers who take advantage of our subscription offer can enjoy their Echo even cheaper at a cost of just 56p per day.

As always, we are keen to hear from readers about their opinions on the Echo, and what they’d like to see in future.
