WASHINGTON audio and broadcast equipment manufacturer Canford is lining up new jobs after adding to its range.
The firm has snapped up Kent-based cabinet and rack manufacturer Enclosure Systems and taken over manufacture and distribution.
Canford has recently taken on new full-time staff in various departments as well as several apprentices.
It expects to create more new posts as a result of the latest buy-out.
Enclosure sales manager Chas Luchford has moved over to join Canford to help smooth the transition.
Iain Elliott, Canford’s founder and director, said: “Having made several brand acquisitions over our 36-year history, including relocating an entire warehousing operation from London to Washington over a single weekend, we are well-practiced at this type of activity.
“Continuity is key, and the product range and pricing is unchanged. Chas Luchford brings with him all the contacts and relationships, so apart from the heading on the invoice, nothing changes.”
