LANDLORDS are being given an insider’s view on how to make sure they are meeting students’ needs.

Sunderland University’s residential services team is hosting its third networking event tomorrow for private landlords and agencies who rent properties to students or who are considering student rental in the future.

Experts from the university will share the latest news and their experiences of student accommodation in Sunderland.

The networking event will also introduce StudentPad, a website advertising accredited private landlords and their properties directly to Sunderland’s students.

Presentations will be delivered by the university residential services team and a Home Office higher education compliance team, as well as the campus services and campus police operations.

The student-landlord networking event will take place at the university’s city campus, in Chester Road at 3pm.

Anyone interested in attending should call 515 2943 or e-mail to book a place.
