Sunderland players to sport Cruise suits for Cup Final after SAFC signs deal with fashion retailer

SUNDERLAND players and boss Gus Poyet will be sporting Cruise suits for the Capital One Cup Final trip after the club formed a new partnership with the company.

The brand will become the club’s official suit provider for the Cup Final through to the 2014/15 season.

The deal will also see Cruise adverts and banners up around the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland AFC’s commercial director Gary Hutchinson said: “We are delighted to welcome Cruise to the Sunderland family.

“The Hugo Boss suits provided by Cruise are of an exceptional standard and are highly on trend with this season’s latest cut and will give players and staff a unified and sophisticated appearance, the suits will be worn by members of the squad and staff at official club engagements.”

Established in Edinburgh in 1981, Cruise is the largest independent luxury fashion retailer in the north of the UK with stores in Newcastle, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Derby and Leicester.

General manager Robert Young said: “The partnership with Sunderland is a perfect example of success and we are privileged to be a partner to the club for the Cup final and into the 2014/15 season.
