THREE hundred of the UK’s leading software developers will gather in Sunderland next month as the city hosts one of the computer industry’s most popular conferences.

Developer Developer Developer (DDD) North takes place at Sunderland University on Saturday, October 8.

The free conference aims to allow the leading lights of the local and national software community to come together and learn from each other, as well as showcasing the thriving software industry in and around Sunderland.

City council leader Coun Paul Watson said: “Being asked to host the region’s first DDD conference is a huge vote of confidence from the IT community and testament to the sustainable and innovative software industry we are building in Sunderland and across the North East through the Sunderland Software City initiative.”
