Pride in his work lands builder top award

A BUILDING site manager is celebrating after winning a prestigious national house-building award.

Rob Mitchell, from Houghton, is site manager at Taylor Wimpey’s Clarence Court development in Murton Lane, Easington Lane.

He beat stiff competition from more than 13,000 entries to be honoured with an National House Building Council’s Pride in the Job Quality Award.

It recognises Rob’s dedication to building high-quality homes for new home-buyers and ranks Clarence Court in the top 3 per cent of developments across the country.

The award also provides homebuyers with the assurance that developments provide top quality homes and excellent customer service.

Rob said: “This award recognises the hard work of the whole team at Clarence Court who all take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.

“I’m delighted to have reached this stage of the competition and to be recognised by the industry in this way.”
