Businesses across Wearside are running out of time to put themselves in the running for honours.
We are into the last week of the nomination period for the Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards and while we have had a fantastic response so far, we want even more companies to get involved.
Before the August 31 deadline arrives, we’d love to hear from more entries in categories including;

Once the deadline passes, we will narrow down the field and creating a shortlist in each category. So come on, get nominating and let’s make it a year to remember for Wearside businesses.
This year’s awards will be presented at the Stadium of Light on Thursday, October 15.

This year sees a new category, also sponsored by Make It Sunderland, which will recognise the contribution social enterprises make to the city.
