WASHINGTON businessman George Paxton is swapping the factory floor for the open road in aid of a good cause – or two.
The co-founder of Universal Sealants (UK) retires at the end of the year and is marking the occasion by taking part in a tough hiking challenge in Morocco to raise funds to help find cancer cures.
George, 64, is joining the fifth Hike for Hope Challenge through the Anti-Atlas Mountains in the deep south of Morocco from September 22-302012.
He has already raised in excess of £18,000 for the two charities Wellbeing of Women and Prostate Action, with more than 180 sponsorship donations.
Anyone wising to help George reach his £20,000 target of £20,000 should visit www.justgiving.com/George-Paxton.
