BUSINESS Link adviser Chris Simpson says now is the time to grab vital funding.

If you are looking for help to grow your business get in touch with Business Link. Funding is available for a limited time.

If you are a business owner, or an entrepreneur with a brilliant idea, you need to ensure that your business is in the best position to grow, capitalise on opportunities and succeed.

One way to grow your business is to innovate. Whether it’s developing a new product or process, or evolving an existing one. It makes your business stand out from your competitors, or improves your efficiencies.

Essentially, innovation can improve productivity, reduces costs and make your business more competitive.

Without reacting swiftly to emerging technologies or shifting trends your business may lose market share, see productivity and efficiency decline and steadily reduce your margins and profits. The Innovation, Advice and Guidance fund from Business Link is there to support businesses seeking to innovate. It helps existing businesses identify opportunities, change and become more competitive and profitable.

There is also a limited amount of time to apply for other funds through Business Link.

The Intensive Start Up Support fund is aimed at businesses trading for up to six months and helps with branding and corporate identity as well as financial planning and mentoring among other services.

The Starting a High Growth Business fund is aimed at people thinking of launching a business within six months, or for businesses trading for less than six months. It helps with consultancy support, process development and financial planning.

There are a number of factors which will affect your eligibility for funding including location, size, industry sector and what the finance is to be used for. So get in touch as soon as possible to see if you are eligible.
