Burglars ride off on stolen bike

THIEVES rode off with a bike worth more than £1,000 after they broke into a house.

The home in Beaumaris, off Rose Terrace in Burnmoor, was targeted between Tuesday on 11.50am and 7am the next day.

During the break-in, a woman’s black and turquoise Cube WLS SL bike, valued at £1,050, was taken.

The cycle, which has 15ins wheels and 30 gears, had been stored in the garage of the house.

As part of the investigations into the burglary, police are appealing for anyone with information about the theft to get in touch.

Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who knows the whereabouts of the bike.
