The Washington boxer is in the side to face France Fighting Roosters in Paris on Thursday.

Britain suffered a defeat in their WSB opener earlier this month with a narrow 3-2 defeat away to Italia Thunder.

McCormack missed the Italian job but returns in France. The 21-year-old has an outstanding WSB record of four victories in his five appearances.

McCormack was part of the Lionhearts squad who rached the 2016 WSB final, where Team GB lost out to Cuba in the final.

Luke missed out on a place at the Olympics last year, the Birtley ABC star having, ironically, win the Rio Test Event last November, only for Joe Cordina to win Team GB’s spot at the Olympics at lightweight.

McCormack will be joined in Paris by Olympians, Muhammed Ali and Frazer Clarke and his Birtley ABC team-mate Cyrus Pattinson.

The match will be shown live on BoxNation from 7.30pm on Thursday evening. BoxNation is available on Sky 437/490HD, Virgin 546, Freeview 255, TalkTalk 415.

McCormack and Co will have two home fixtures next month, both at York Hall in London, against the Morocco Atlas Lions on Wednesday, March 8, and Italia Thunder on Thursday, March 23.
