BLACK Cats fans travelling by train will not be allowed to drink alcohol on the way home from Sunday’s game at Arsenal.

Following a request by British Transport Police (BTP), East Coast will not sell alcohol or allow it to be taken on board between the hours of 4pm and 10pm on Sunday.

BTP said the reason for the move is because of the expected high number of fans returning from the game at the Emirates Stadium (1.30pm kick-off).

A spokesman for East Coast said: “No alcohol will be served or permitted on board.”
