A STREET market with a difference filled the streets of Durham City over the weekend.
The Big Eat market offers a host of food and other produce which is ethical and eco-friendly, artisan, and traceable.
Organiser Paul Kennedy said: “The products and produce are both local and from across the globe.
“There is an eclectic mix of world street food, local and home-made foods, arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery and accessories.”
He added: “Everything is made under fair working conditions so the consumer can be assured they are buying good quality items while at the same time supporting the producer.”
Colin Wilkes, managing director of Durham Markets Company, said: “We are delighted to have the Big Eat market here for the second time this year.
“It was popular last time and offers something a little different to our regular stores in the indoor market.”
