POPSTAR Jamie Lambert will be among the celebs to pull on a pullover in a charity’s Christmas celebration.
The Collabro singer from Washington and his band mates have signed up to Save the Children’s national fund-raising event, with his family also pledging their backing to this Friday’s event.
Mum Lorraine, South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust’s executive director, sister Caitlin and even his pug Peggy are adding their support for the event.
Lorraine, who is looking after Peggy while the band prepare for a national tour, said: “It’s in aid of a great cause and it’s fantastic to see so many people joining in to raise funds.
“Collabro have done so much for charity since they won Britain’s Got Talent supporting lots of different fund-raising events as well as becoming sponsors of various charities”.
“Our staff are always extremely generous in supporting worthy charities and we’re expecting some employees working in appropriate departments will want to wear a Christmas jumper on December 12th and, in return, donate to this great cause.”
Workplaces and schools are among those who will take part in the third Christmas Jumper Day
Sunderland’s Lauren Laverne also offered her help as she hosted Christmas Jumper Jam at London’s Union Chapel last week.
