Praise 4 is a new service of worship at the new time of 4pm. Praise 4 will be held on the last Sunday of the month at St Nicholas Church, starting on September 27. This new service aims to provide space to spend time in God’s presence through songs, hymns, prayer ministry and testimonies. Everyone is welcome from the very youngest to the young at heart.

As part of The Heritage Open Days St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Wilson Street, will be open on Saturday, September 12, from 10am-4pm. This beautiful church will display antique vestments and church artefacts and will hold a summer fair at 11am.

Once again St Nicholas Church is participating in The Heritage Open Days week end when it is hoped people will visit the church, especially to view the magnificent stained glass windows. The church will be open Friday, September 11, from 2pm-4pm and Saturday, September 12, from 10am-3pm.
Unwanted gift bags would be welcomed at St Gabriel’s Church for future tombola stalls in aid of church funds. It doesn’t matter what size they are they will be very useful. They can be handed to June Talbot or the bookstall. Many thanks to those who have already handed in bags.
