JUST when you thought Robbie’s return was the icing on the cake of Take That’s Stadium of Light gigs, a Sunderland chef has come up trumps.
Stacie Stewart, of Masterchef and This Morning fame, came up with this fab five-themed creation to mark the lads’ gigs in the city.
The 28-year-old – who runs the Beehive Bakery at the Bic, Hylton Riverside – and her staff spent 10 hours baking and decorating the two-tiered vanilla and chocolate treat.
She said: “I was asked to create a Take That cake.
“My cake decorator Mandy Scott is a huge Take That fan and has seen them hundreds of times around the world, and we came up with the idea of using their album covers on the cake.
“It’s a one-off special as a way of welcoming the band to Sunderland.”
She added: “It’s brilliant to have a band like that in the city.”
