Springboard Sunderland has been celebrating its success by holding an awards night.
The annual GEM Awards were held at the Best Western Roker Hotel and celebrated the successes of learners, staff and employers throughout the year.
This year sees Springboard celebrate 40 years in the training provider sector and one year as an independent company.
Special guest for the evening was The Apprentice star Katie Bulmer-Cooke, who presented the awards to the winners in the 24 categories.
The awards evening began with an introduction by Denise Wilson, the Trust Secretary who has been with the company from the start.
She said proud she was of how far the company has come over the 40 years and how this year has been a great milestone for her and the Springboard team.
The awards evening was a great night and a great opportunity for all involved in Springboard to let their hair down and celebrate the past 40 years of successes, and the first year of being an independent company.
