The following Wearside cases have been heard by magistrates:

Andrew Bywater, 29, of Alwin, Penshaw. Ordered to pay fines and costs of £155 for being drunk and disorderly.

Neil McKenzie, 50, of Roker Avenue, Sunderland. Conditionally discharged for six months and ordered to pay £105 costs for being drunk and disorderly.

Jordan Yorston, 24, of Lumley Close, Washington. Conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £105 costs for making a false statement to obtain benefits.

Elizabeth Foster, 32, of Ravenna Road, Red House, Sunderland. Sentenced to a curfew of 20 weeks and ordered to pay £217.99 compensation for three offences of theft.

Leighton Hair, 19, of Clovelly Road, Sunderland. Ordered to pay £240 in fines, costs, and compensation for sending an offensive message.

Steven Lamb, 36, of The Green, Southwick, Sunderland. Sentenced to two weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £200 costs for breach of bail.

Jordan Brown, 32, of Azalea Terrace South, Sunderland. Sentenced to 46 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £985 in compensation and costs for assault, assaulting a police officer, theft, criminal damage, and threatening behaviour.

William Burlinson, 32, of Okehampton Square, Sunderland. Ordered to pay £281.94 in fines, costs, and compensation for theft.

Leanne English, 35, of Stanhope, Oxclose, Washington. Sentenced to a community order of 18 months, 30 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay fines and compensation of £40 for theft.
