THREE men are being hunted after a brawl in a Sunderland city centre street left the victim with facial injuries.

The incident in Blandford Street happened as the 39-year-old became involved in a argument with three other men as he walked along.

He was assaulted by one of the men before all three left, possibly in a taxi.

The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital for treatment before being discharged.

The first man is described as white, with short fair hair. He was wearing a dark-blue hoodie, dark trousers and white trainers.

The second man was wearing a beige top, dark jeans and white trainers.

The third man is described as slightly smaller than the other two and was wearing blue jeans and a beige top.
