Sports club manager Gerard Harvey told the Echo that the club are hoping for blazing weather to help swell entrance numbers.

“If there is good weather we’ll hopefully be able to get about 1,000 people in across the two days,” said Mr Harvey.

“There will be over 30 beers, ciders and real
ales being served so
there’s something for everyone.

“It’s a great fund-raising event for the club, as we
have this and the fireworks display in November as the two main things in our calendar. “
