And now William Hill are offering 6/1 odds that they fail to beat the record lowest points total in the league - and 1/12 that they WILL beat the total, which is 11 points.

In addition, Moyes is 5/4 to have left Sunderland before the side faces Bournemouth next Saturday - and 4/7 to still be there.

Joe Crilly, of William Hill, said: "10 games into the season and Sunderland have picked up just two points and they face an uphill struggle now.

"They may be looking for a new manager bounce even earlier this season than they usually do."
