Are you the host with the most? Come Dine With Me launches search in North East

The popular Channel 4 show is heading to the North East and bosses are looking for people to take part in the brand new episode.

The crew will be filming in the Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham area, and anywhere within 45 minutes, and is hoping to find fun, outgoing people to take on the challenge of cooking for complete strangers in a bid to win £1,000.

A spokesman for the show said: “We are looking for brilliant people to compete in the new series.

“The new episode of the successful show takes place over four days with four individuals from all walks of life taking turns to host the perfect dinner party. At the end of the week the winning host walks away with £1,000.

“If you are fun-loving with a passion for food, we want to hear from you now. You must be over 18.”

People applying to the show must be available for filming between August 22 and 26.
