CONCERNS have been raised for a man’s welfare after he failed to return home.

Police say they are becoming increasingly worried about Robert Duncan as he has not returned to his Seaham house or made contact with his family since he left his address at 4.10pm on Thursday.

Officers say it is possible that he may have travelled along the A17 heading towards Kings Lynn in Norfolk yesterday evening.

Sergeant Vicky Guthrie, of Durham Constabulary, said “Robert is known to have left his home address driving a Grey Ford Focus C Max motor vehicle, registration ND14 CTV.

“This is totally out of character for Robert and his family are understandably very worried about him.”

Robert is described as being white 5ft 11in tall, of slim build with short grey hair.

He has a goatee beard and moustache and was last seen wearing a blue long sleeved top, blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

Anyone who might have seen Robert since Thursday evening or the vehicle he has been using is asked to contact Durham Constabulary on 101.
