Appeal after Washington dog attack

POLICE have appealed for help in tracking down a woman whose dogs attacked a man in Washington.

A 36-year-old man was jogging in Biddick Lane, Fatfield,at 2.30pm on Saturday, October 11,when he was attacked by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers. He suffered bites to his calf, thigh, buttock and lower back.

The dogs were off the lead at the time and were being walked by a woman.

She is described as being around 45 to 50-years-old, around 5ft 4ins tall, of large build and with a tanned complexion. She had dark hair tied back in a pony tail, and is described as having bad teeth and tattoos across the top of her chest.

She was wearing a cream or white hooded top and black bottoms at the time of the incident.
