Spend your half term at the Durham adventure park - and meet some Halloween loving animals.
Adventure Valley's staff have been working hard carving pumpkins ready for half term. But these festive decorations have a bit of a twist.
Instead of the traditional spooky faces, some of the park's resident animals have found themselves carved in pumpkin fame - and they're getting a taste for it too!
Janine Calzini, from Adventure Valley, said: “We have carved pumpkins in the shape of; a sheep, rabbit, donkey, goat, horse, chipmunk, llamas and more.
"They will be used to help decorate the site for our two Halloween after dusk party nights on October 30 and 31. There will be lots of ghoulish entertainment on those nights including the fabulous UV puppet show in the theatre, and our new Spooky Castle experience.
“Our animals have also been getting into the Halloween spirit. Our pygmy goats have been exploring the pumpkin pile, and the chipmunks just love to scamper in and out of the mouth and eye holes in their pumpkin.”
The park is holding a spooktacular October half term with a week of hocus-pocus Halloween family fun daily, starting tomorrow.
It will run until November 1.
There are two ticket only party nights on October 30 and 31. For more information, click here or call 0191 3868291.
