Have your say

A SURE Start centre is offering families with children under five advice and information about protecting themselves from harmful rays.

Sessions on staying safe in the sun are taking place, as part of Sun Awareness Week, between 9.30am and 10.30am at Shotton Children’s Centre on Thursday. The session will be part of the normal Learning through Play group.

Practical advice will be on hand from the Talk about Cancer team. Families attending will receive a free bottle of sunscreen lotion.

The information and advice provided in the session is supported by recommendations from the British Association of Dermatologists, and British Skin Foundation.
