Neighbourhood police in Ryhope and Grangetown have seized a bike which was being driven illegally as part of operation to clamp down on off-road riders putting the public at risk in the city.

Sunderland Police have revealed on Twitter that neighbourhood officers from both Ryhope and Grangetown have seized another bike as part of Operation Eagle.
It is understood the bike was being driven on roads without any documentation, prompting officers to carry out the seizure.

Police are able to seize and destroy any of the bikes involved in such offences.
