FORMER Wearside pub singer Jade Thirlwall is through to the next round of live X Factor shows.
The 18-year-old, who used to perform at Bar Justice in Sunniside, is part of act Little Mix, which includes South Shields teenager Perrie Edwards.
They were among eight bands announced to have won through public vote.
Ashford Campbell, brother of Black Cats striker Fraizer Campbell, will also continue on in the programme.
Campbell had previously been voted off as part of act Nu Vibe, but has now returned after being invited to join The Risk.
He was asked to join after Ashley J Baptiste had decided to leave the manufactured boyband, and X Factor mentor Tulisa Contostavlos was allowed to choose a replacement for the group.
