A WEARSIDE fitness guru is on a mission to make mummies yummy.

Award-winning personal trainer Katie Bulmer-Cooke is helping women across the globe regain their pre-baby figures through her new workout DVD, The Fit Mummy Manual, which has sold worldwide.

Katie, 26, from Ashbrooke, and business partner, Sheffield-based Kelly Rennie, 30, put together their unique nutrition and workout plan following their own post-baby weight loss success.

“Mums don’t have the time, or the childcare to hit the gym five times a week. They need something that they can do at home, quickly and yields real results,” explained Katie who is mum to Heidi, two.

She added: “New mums feel so much pressure from the media and celebrity world to go from giving birth to their skinny jeans in a matter of days and this can spoil their new found role of being a mum.

“We both know exactly how hard it is squeeze workouts into a daily routine.

“We’ve created the programme so it fits easily into a typical day and the nutrition plan is simple, quick and can be enjoyed by the whole family.”

In 2012, Katie was awarded Young Business of the Year, at the 2012 Sunderland Business Awards for her international franchise business, The Little Black Dress Club, as well winning UK Personal Trainer of the Year and being named in the top 10 global Personal Trainers To Watch.

Her DVDs are now being shipped to Australia, New Zealand, New York, Florida and South Africa.
