Jet2 announces extra New York trip from Newcastle Airport for winter 2020

Jet2 has expanded its programme of direct flights and trips to New York on the back of exceptional demand in the North East.

There are now five trips from Newcastle Airport on sale for winter 2020, perfect for holidaymakers hoping to soak up Thanksgiving in the city that never sleeps, or do a spot of Christmas shopping in the city that never sleeps.

The four-night trips are departing from Newcastle on Sunday, November 22, Thursday, November 26, Thursday, December 3, Sunday, December 6 and Thursday December 17.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks said: “Next winter’s programme of once-in-a-lifetime specials to New York are proving to be extremely popular, so we have responded to that by putting another fantastic trip on sale from Newcastle Airport.

“This means we have five magical trips to New York on sale from Newcastle next winter, and with Thanksgiving and the Christmas season covered, holidaymakers have never had so much choice when it comes to getting to the Big Apple at this special time of year.”

In total, the company is putting on 27 New York trips from across six of its UK bases for next winter, with more than 8,500 seats on sale.

As well as flights, there are also package breaks on sale in central New York locations.
