AN FA Cup winner will be part of a special show for North East football fans.
Sunderland AFC legend Micky Horswill, part of the victorious 1973 team, will take part in Let’s Talk Football, at The Customs House, South Shields.
It will be hosted by former Premiership referee Dermot Gallagher, and include ex-Newcastle United stars Malcolm Macdonald, who won 14 caps for England, and Frank Clark who managed Nottingham Forest and Manchester City after his playing career ended.
Customs House executive director Ray Spencer said: “I am delighted to have secured this must-see show for football fans.
“It’ll be a great night and no doubt packed full of banter for fans of both Newcastle and Sunderland.”
Asked what question he would pose the panel Mr Spencer, said: “I’d probably ask Dermot Gallagher if that horrific all-white Liverpool Cup Final suit was as bad in person as it looked on the telly.”
Let’s Talk Football takes place on Wednesday, September 28.
Tickets cost £14 or £11.50 concessions and are available by calling the box office on 454 1234, or by visiting www.customshouse.co.uk.
