TICKETS for evening events at a festival are now on sale.
Also, the website for Streets of Summer Festival 2011, which will see Durham City come alive, has gone online.
Performers from across the world will be involved to entertain, surprise and amuse, when the event returns on August bank holiday weekend.
There will be contemporary folk and world music acts, clowns, acrobats, jugglers and contortionists, among others.
It starts with The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Gala on August 26.
“Streets is an urban festival that you can enjoy without wellies or a tent,” said festival organiser Kate James.
“During the day and have the strongest line-up yet, and we’ve also added new evening activities so people can carry on enjoying the unique Streets experience well in to the night.
“It is a great entertainment spectacle and a really social event and people can now sign up to receive festival information online and also follow the festival on Twitter.”
