SEAHAM Hall has been bought by an international holiday company, safeguarding 120 jobs.

The five-star hotel and its Serenity Spa have been bought at a knockdown price after its parent company von Essen went in to administration last Easter.

Bristol-based Seasons Holidays, which already runs seven country house hotels in the UK and others in Spain, Portugal and the Canaries, has become its new owner.

The firm has already started work as part of a initial investment of £500,000 in the buildings.

The amount paid for the business has not been revealed.
