THREE-feet-tall daleks, London buses and Volkswagen Beetles took over a Sunderland museum.
Meccano experts created the eye-catching models, at Monkwearmouth Station Museum.
North East Meccano Society members were also on hand to help families construct models from the metal strips.
Jo Cunningham, manager of Sunderland Museums, said: “These models are amazing. I think the adults enjoy the day as much as the children.
“A huge thank-you to the North East Meccano Society for coming to spend the day at the museum and bringing their wonderful creations. It is always a treat.”
