THE man who ran across America in aid of a Sunderland hospice has said he will announce his next challenge very soon.
Mark Allison, 40, raised about £100,000 for St Benedict’s Hospice, which is on Newcastle Road, in Monkwearmouth, and The Children’s Foundation from his epic run.
Now he has said on Twitter that it will be just two years until he starts his next feat.
But when pressed as to which country it would be this time, he said all would be revealed next month.
Marathon man Mark, who lives in Shotley Bridge, County Durham, ran 3,100 miles in 100 days across the U.S. in August, from California to New York.
And he is now in the running to be an Olympic torch carrier for the London 2012 games.
