FOOTBALL fans will be shaken not stirred when they get to rub shoulders with their sporting heroes.

Black Cat charity, Foundation of Light, has a licence to thrill supporters when it shows a special advanced screening of the new James Bond film at Cineworld Boldon.

Dress code is black tie for the event, which takes place next Thursday, with guests walking the red carpet and enjoying Bond-themed games and activities before taking their seats for the premiere of Bond’s 23rd big screen outing starring British actor Daniel Craig.

The latest instalment of the 007 franchise, Skyfall, hits cinemas a day later, and the Foundation of Light is offering red and white supporters the chance to watch Bond’s latest adventure with their heroes before the movie’s official UK release.

Members of the SAFC first team will attend the premiere and meet guests before the film’s screening with all money raised from the event going towards the charity’s award-winning community projects.

Katrina Quinn, events coordinator at the Foundation of Light, said: “Following the success of our charity screenings over the past four years, we’ve been looking for the right film to showcase and Skyfall certainly fits the bill.

“Purchasing a ticket not only gives Sunderland supporters and Bond fans the opportunity to see the film before its general release and raise money for charity, but the chance to join Sunderland AFC players at the premiere making the evening extra special.

“We’d like to extend our thanks to our friends at Cineworld Boldon, our drinks sponsor Heineken, and Sunderland AFC for their continued support in what will be another exciting Foundation of Light event.”

Tickets are limited and are priced at £15, with VIP places available for £30.

Admission is by advanced ticket only and all seats are pre-allocated.
