Each Social has five local food traders which change for each event. The Salt Market will be host to a massive range of food vendors this summer that will include Lobo Rojo and their Mexican tacos, Chef Matei Baran bringing his posh street food, Tandoori Naan Wraps from Hullabaloo, South American flavours from Cocina Peru and appearances from Red Head’s mac n cheese, Bao Down, Hatch 76 and their duck specialities, Med Head with their Lebanese flat breads, Pan Asia bringing the best Asian food and Parmorama with that great Teesside delicacy.

Music

Sound tracking the June Socials will be a full eclectic mix of music from Mojaxx, Night Dancing, Annie Marron, Mark Armstrong and Simon Heatherington.

Drink

People can pop in for afternoon or evening drinks. Behind the bar is a large selections of local craft beers including Wylam, Full Circle, Two By Two, Almasty, Northern Alchemy and Out There plus the specially brewed Tommy Y Pale Ale as the house beer from Fish Quay neighbours Flash House. Beers are a full range from the dark to the light and from the weak to the strong.

Reservations

Tables are for up to eight people and as restrictions ease the venue will also cater for larger parties. Bookings aren’t necessary from now on but reservations are advised as the Socials get fully booked and can be made via https://www.resdiary.com/restaurant/saltmarketsocial.
