They’ll be revealed in the Sunderland Echo on Thursday and Friday.

Meanwhile, here’s our latest batch of wannabe modelling stars battling it out to be the Face of 2011.

We are aiming to find the next king or queen of the catwalk in our annual competition.

The winner will receive a year’s free hairdressing, courtesy of Reds Hair and Beauty salon, and be signed by Glam R Us Model Agency for a year, while Eleven will help them dress to impress with a £100 clothes voucher to spend at the store.

Also on offer for the winner is a professional photoshoot with top photographer David Lawson and tooth whitening at Olivers, on Durham Road.

Emma Todd, from Castletown, entered the competition last year but she was too young to go any further.

Now 16, Emma said: “I thought now I’m older I would try again.

“I’ve always thought about modelling and it’s something I would really like to do in the future.”

Emma, who is studying for her GCSEs at Castle View Enterprise Academy has had a lot of support from her friends.

She said: “They’ve all been saying good luck and hopefully I’ll win it this year.”

Paige Pattinson, from Red House, was entered by her mum.

The 16-year-old said: “She phoned me to tell me she had put me forward and I was really shocked, but I’m fine about it now.

“I’ve never thought about modelling before but now I’ve been put forward, it’s something I would like to do.”
