A short pre-inquest review hearing was held into the death of Lois, 27, of Gateshead, earlier today, Tuesday, March 9, at Sunderland Civic Centre.
Assistant senior coroner Karin Welsh explained police investigating the crash had been “hampered” in their inquiries as they were waiting to interview to someone who was injured in the collision as they looked to progress matters.
Due to that reason she adjourned the inquest until the morning of Tuesday, June 22.
