All these Wearside pubs have been demolished - but how many did you enjoy a drink in?

They were all part of the Wearside pub scene until they were demolished.

All of these pubs once served the people of Sunderland and the surrounding communities.

But we can remember them thanks to these photos which were shared with the Sunderland Echo by Ron Lawson, the former JP who is also part of the Sunderland Antiquarian Society.

He has shared a part of his huge photo collection of 11,500 pictures. Take a look at Ron’s great reminders of times gone by.
