Durham Police share eerie pictures of deserted streets as coronavirus lock-down continues

Durham Constabulary have share pictures of deserted streets across the county as a thank you to people obeying the coronavirus lock-down.

The force shared a number of photos of officers out and about around the county on its Facebook page, including one of an apparently empty Durham market square – although one on-line comment suggested the scene had not been quite as quiet as the image suggested – and thanked those people who had obeyed the Government’s advice on self-isolation and staying at homer to limit the spread of the virus.
