Tony Carr, Anthony Fenton and Oliver Lindley, who met while working in the marketing, communication and design department of Sunderland AFC, now run the Ynot creative agency.

But with the lockdown putting a stop to their projects, the pals decided to turn their talents to pushing out the call for people to stick to the social distancing rules, with each filming their own part of an Avengers-inspired viral video.

Anthony said: “The inspiration for the video was to come up with something creative that could be informative and entertaining in these unprecedented times.

“We were talking about being a hero and staying at home and looked at the Avengers trailer for inspiration and found that the words in the trailer really fitted well with what is happening and what we need to do.”

Tony added: “We each did it from our homes and then Anthony edited it all together.

“We just thought it was something we could do to raise awareness and get that message out to stay at home, save lives.”

The video, which features references to reference to stocking up on loo roll after running out of supplies, elbow bumps, the importance of staying at home to protect the NHS and the stresses of keeping youngsters occupied, has been watched more than 7,000 times.

It is accompanied with the message: “Here’s something a little lighthearted but with a strong message as we’ve re-imagined the Avengers trailer in our current circumstances.”
