These are the 10 areas in and around Sunderland which have recorded the highest percentage of new Covid-19 cases in the seven-days leading up to Friday, November 13, compared to the week before.
Official figures also show the case rate which takes into account the number of people living in each area compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
1. Thorney Close and Plains Farm
