Getting through 2020 was tough, but with a new year and new lockdown we’ve asked you to share the things which have helped your mental health throughout the pandemic so far.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Lockdown 3 in England this week, with restrictions coming into play on Tuesday, January 5. And as we all got to grips with the latest national rules, we took to our social media pages, where you shared the activities and hobbies which have had a positive impact on your mental health during these difficult months. Here are some of the suggestions you made – thank you to everyone who shared a story with us.

As we enter the new lockdown, Government rules say we are still permitted to go outside for exercise - but that this should be kept to once a day.
If you're heading out for your daily exercise, be sure to wrap up warm against the elements.
The pandemic's restrictions prompted many of us to spend more time in our local area - and we love seeing the pictures you have taken while out and about.
