Sunderland Echo readers share tributes and messages on National Thank a Teacher Day
This week saw National Thank a Teacher Day and we’ve been asking our readers to tell us about all the star teachers and support staff in their area.
Many of you got in touch to pay tribute to some of the fantastic schools and staff who have continued to provide support during lockdown.

Tina Barker: I would like to say a massive thank you to Barnes Junior School! They have supported me and my son at this uncertain time and have been amazing thank you x
Lisa Cole: To all of the staff at St Benets Primary School. They have been amazing through the closure, giving students a huge pack of work to complete as well as live lessons.
Micheala Lloyd: To all St Ann School staff, they are doing a fantastic job with the support and wellbeing of all their students home or at school.
Sarah Hornsby: To all the teachers, the head teacher and especially Miss McCloud at Ryhope Infant School. Thank you for all that you do Olivia misses all of you xx
