Easter opening times for Aldi stores in Sunderland as coronavirus social distancing measures remain in place

The discount supermarket chain announced a number of changes to opening hours, emergency services priority times and new safety measures to protect staff and customers last month.

And with the Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching, it has confirmed when its branches will be open over the Easter weekend.

Key workers in the NHS, Police and Fire Service will take priority ahead of queues into stores upon showing a valid ID.

Limits remain on some purchases and the firm has increased its contactless card limit to £45 and where necessary, the firm is limiting the number of people in stores.
