Aldi has unveiled its Easter Bank Holiday weekend opening times as the coronavirus continues to impact stores across Sunderland.

The discount supermarket chain announced a number of changes to opening hours, emergency services priority times and new safety measures to protect staff and customers last month.

And with the Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching, it has confirmed when its branches will be open over the Easter weekend.

Limits remain on some purchases and the firm has increased its contactless card limit to £45 and where necessary, the firm is limiting the number of people in stores.
