Escape at Sanmarie Beauty Spa will be dedicating each Sunday to NHS staff and offering them the chance to get free cut-and-style appointments as a gesture of appreciation for their recent hard work.

The spa, which was forced to close in March as the country went into lockdown, is hoping to reopen in July and staff have been supporting the local community during their time off by providing hand sanitiser to key workers and keeping in regular contact with customers to make sure they are okay.

“We wanted to show our appreciation to our local NHS hero’s by dedicating a day each week to them where they can come and get pampered by our team in a safe and relaxing environment.

“It’s been difficult as a small business to survive at a time where we cannot operate, so we have used this time to help and be there for our community and clients as much as we can.”

The spa, which has been running for 27 years, has undergone a revamp during lockdown in order to adhere to government guidelines so customers are able to feel safe and secure.
