Sunderland's Everyone Active gyms to reopen - here's what you need to know

Silksworth Community Pool, Tennis and Wellness Centre, Silksworth Sports Complex and Ski Slope, Washington Leisure Centre, Houghton Sports and Wellness Centre and Hetton Community Pool and Wellness Centre, managed by sports and leisure operator Everyone Active in partnership with Sunderland City Council, will reopen their doors tomorrow, Wednesday, December 2, following a month’s closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Raich Carter Sports Centre is also opening, although its pool will remain closed until further notice, with all Learn to Swim customers transferred to Sunderland Aquatic Centre where lessons will restart on Thursday, December 3. A further announcement about adult swimming lessons will be made soon.

Hide AdThe Government has confirmed all leisure centres across all tiers will be safe to reopen with strict operational measures in place.
